There are several outdoor markets and exquisite restaurants about 8 kms away. The prestigious Prem International School is located just 2 kms down the road. The Four Seasons Hotel is located about 6 kms away in Mae Sia valley. The Green Valley Country Club and Mae Jo Country Club and Resort are also very close by with 18-hole Golf courses..
The neighboring valley of Mae Sia boasts waterfalls, botanical gardens, butterfly farms and flower markets. And for adventure-seekers, the valley has bungee jumping, off-road 4WD adventures, cart-racing, elephant trekking and river rafting.
The region enjoys a mild tropical climate, regulated by the mountainous terrain. There are seasonal temperature changes, unlike other parts of Southeast Asia.
